The food at our event, provided by August Moon Catering, was an absolute triumph.  Michael Anderson has a genius for creative cooking, coupled with a calm, professional, friendly demeanor in the kitchen.  Using locally-grown, winter produce, he assembled a masterful display of appetizers.  The goat cheese torte with pesto layers was delicious.  The daikon radish rolls, falafel bits and a creation combining watermelon radishes, chutney and pickled vegetables were all amazing.  The menu was balanced, interesting and attractive.  Folks were raving about the flavors.  The appetizers were a perfect ending to an afternoon of speeches and workshops.
